Off-Site Paper Shredding Step 1: Pick Up OR Drop Off

The first step in the off-site paper shredding process is the pick up or drop off of your documents.

There are two options for pick up service. The first is our reoccurring contract service and the second is a one time bulk shredding pick up. For our reoccurring service we come to your business and empty or swap out the secure shredding container we provided you at sign up. We then load that material onto our locked shred truck and transport the material to our facility for destruction. We also offer one time bulk shredding pick up service. We schedule a date and time to pick up your documents, we load your material onto or locked shred truck and transport it back to our facility for destruction via a NAID AAA certified shredding process.

The other option for off-site paper shredding is our convenient walk in/drop off service. Bring all your documents to our facility where we will unload them for you. You are even able to stay and watch your paper be shreddedfrom our lobby. No appointment or minimum is required. This service is popular among residential customers and small business. Off-Site Paper Shredding Step 2:

The second step in this process is the physical destruction or shredding of your documents. Our Industrial paper shredder is capable of shredding at a rate of 4000 pounds an hour. Your documents are tipped from a barrel onto the shredding table where they are fed by conveyer belt into the cutter heads shown in the picture.

Off-Site Paper Shredding Step 3:

The third step in this process is transfer of shredded paper from the shredder to the paper baler. Once your documents have been successfully destroyed via a NAID AAA certified shredding process, they are moved by conveyer belt to our paper baler.

Off-Site Paper Shredding Step 4:

The fourth step in this process is the baling of the shredded paper. All paper that is shredded is transferred to our paper baler to form bales that weigh roughly 1500 pounds. Once the shredded paper is baled it is stacked in our staging area.

Off-Site Paper Shredding Step 5:

The fifth and final step in this process is the recycling of the baled and shredded paper. Industry standard and our NAID AAA certification requires that all shredded paper go through a second destruction process. Recycling the shredded paper involves pulping and deinking the paper so that it can be remade into other paper products. 100% of all paper shredded by us is securely recycled.
